Legality

Tint laws vary from state to state, and the customer is responsible for ensuring that their car is legal. In New York, 70% is the maximum allowed tint for front side windows and windshields. The top six inches of the windshield can be tinted with any non-reflective tint. The rear back and side windows can have any tint level assuming the car has side mirrors.
